Cornwall's
Gay Men's Health Programme provides the following services to address
the sexual health needs of gay and bisexual men in a rural area:
Safer sex resources
Regular supplies of condoms/lubricant can be supplied,
by post, to those living in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
Information and support
Responsive support for men with concerns around
safer sex and related issues
Partnership working
Collaborative working with a range of agencies
to promote local HIV prevention
Training
Provision of a variety of training packages around
HIV prevention, sexuality and discrimination
Diversity support
Supporting equality and diversity groups in Cornwall
to address discrimination issues in employment and training
Project support
Commissioning and supporting the development of small projects,
including helplines, to meet the needs of young people, those facing discrimination
or harassment and HIV issues. Current supported projects include:
